Our Vision

PUPGBOA is a value-based Trade Union, committed to the consolidation of Bank Officers’ Movement and the entire Managerial Staff in PUPGB. It is against Exploitation, Victimisation, and Attacks on the Working Class. Through Dedicated Service and Struggle, it upholds the Dignity, Self-esteem, Professional competence of its Members to seek Fair, Equitable Compensation, and Service Conditions.

PUPGBOA is Politically not affiliated, Self Reliant, Internally Led, Independent Trade Union upholding Democratic values and involving itself in socially relevant issues. It is committed to National Unity, National Interest, and the Public Sector.

 

Administrations have a vision for that. They will set a goal and define it as a project and do their job.

As such, our workers and their organizations, the unions, need a vision.

Such a vision and agenda has been defined by the affiliates of our AIRRBEA in the Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

 

MISSION

  1. We must ensure that everyone working in the Prathama UP Gramin Bank works with self-respect, dignity, and happiness.

  2. The activities of the Prathama UP Gramin Bank management should be transparent and authoritative. Verbal orders and exchanges should be avoided.

  3. The duties and responsibilities of those working at all levels of the Prathama UP Gramin Bank should be clearly defined and adhered to. Officers should do the job and officers should do the stirring tasks.

  4. 13 zonal offices should be set up for Prathama UP Gramin Bank demarcating the boundaries for a total of 937 branches. Power and administrative functions must be decentralized without being concentrated in one place.

  5. The official telephone numbers of the bank should be used for all the activities of the bank.

  6. All legal rights and contractual benefits should be provided to all those working in the Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

  7. The better service conditions, better rights, and better allowances of Prathama  Bank and Sarva UP Gramin Bank should be extended to Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

  8. Newly hired employees and officers of the Prathama UP Gramin Bank should not purchase service bonds that are unconstitutional and against the RRB Staff Service.

  9. The AIRRBEA affiliates, who constitute the majority of the staff and officers of the Prathama UP Gramin Bank, should be accorded due respect and rights. The Prathama UP Gramin Bank should consult the staff matters and service conditions with those associations.

  10. Transfer policy for officers and employees should be finalized in consultation with the unions. It must be complied with by the administration and the associations.

  11. The administration of Prathama UP Gramin Bank should function by equally employing the officers and staff of Prathama Bank and Sarva UP Gramin Bank in the Headquarters and Zonal Offices

  12. The Staff Welfare Fund system created in Prathama Bank should be extended to Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

  13. The Medical Claim Scheme for Retirees should be implemented in Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

  14. The safety of female employees and officers should be ensured.

  15. Separate toilet facilities for men and women should be provided in all branches.

  16. The rights of SC / ST employees and officers should be upheld.

  17. He should be given opportunities to take leave for himself. Leave should not be denied on the basis of the business and functions of the branch.

  18. Arrangements for leave should be formalized. The power to grant leave to general managers, regional managers, and branch managers should be regularized and decentralized.

  19. Workplaces are determined by statistics on March 31 of each year. Therefore, the effective date for Recruitment and Promotion should be April 1 of each year.

  20. Recruitment, Promotions, Transfers should be completed in a timely manner every year.

  21. New branches should be avoided in Prathama UP Gramin Bank without adequate man power and basic infrastructure required for branches.

  22. Employees and staff should not be forced to work overtime, both at headquarters and at branches.

  23. Vacancies for Scale V officers should be filled through promotion and they should work as General Managers of Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

  24. All temporary frontline employees must be made permanent in accordance with the rules and regulations permitted.

  25. 30 percent of the monthly salary of permanent frontline employees should be fixed and implemented as the minimum wages of temporary employees. They should be given bonuses.

  26. We must create a sense of solidarity with all parties, including officers, clerks, and messengers, and create a class consciousness of the working class.

  27. To carry forward the interests of Bank Officers working in India and abroad.

  28. To remain always committed for a larger Consolidation of Managerial Staff all over the country.

  29. To campaign in favor of the Public Sector for protecting and furthering Public Interest.

  30. Through determined, sustained Campaigns and struggles strives to improve the service conditions by effectively using bipartite machinery.

  31. To extend constructive and positive support to the Banks, in poverty alleviation programs and for the improvement of the economy.

  32. To work towards continuous improvements for the purpose of enhancement of customer satisfaction through dedicated customer service.

  33. To Continuously search for healthy interaction among staff members and society, through enhancement of awareness and involvement in non-bargaining issues like Economic Policy, Health of the Banks, Social Service, etc.,

  34. Work as a Nodal point for organising the Professional Workers of different sectors in India. To strive to organise the unorganized sector for protecting and furthering their Dignity and Human rights.

  35. To uphold the dignity and self-esteem of the working class.

  36. Affiliate wise Autonomous; Confederation wise Supportive.

  37. Inculcating a sense of belonging amongst the Members, Affiliates, and the Working Class at large.

  38. To be sensitive and to protect Human Dignity and Self-Respect.

  39. To improve Professional Outlook and Commitment to the Institution.

  40. To seek continuous Enhancement of Working Knowledge and Skills through, Research, Training, and Development.

  41. To root out corruption at all levels.

  42. To work for the National interest and to confront New Challenges with Eternal Vigilance, Determination, and Bold Initiatives.

  43. To Resolve Internal Organizational Challenges through Mutual Dialogue, Discussion, and Consensus.

  44. To Work Democratically to Enhance Unity and Camaraderie amongst Members and Affiliates.

  45. Comrades, it was a historic occasion that, during the Silver Jubilee year of the Confederation, the leadership of the Confederation is coming out with Vision, Mission, and Value Statements befitting the status of the Confederation. We compliment the participants of the ‘Conclave’ for a marvelous job they have accomplished

The function of our association will be to advance this agenda in the Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

 

This will be the path and journey of the trade union movement of the Prathama UP Gramin Bank.

 

With this clarity and determination, we will step into our future.
